York
York is seeped in Viking and Roman history, with perfectly preserved medieval cobbled streets, quaint tea-rooms and northern friendliness. It has the largest medieval church in the country (York Minster), the renown National Railway Museum and a surprising number of contemporary art museums. Outside the city, you can visit one of three national parks which makes this area of the UK famous: North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Peak District, and discover for yourself why Yorkshire is known as “God’s own county” and so is ideal for anyone looking for student accommodation in York.
Fun fact: York is supposed to be Britain’s most haunted city!
